This notice describes how we process personal data when you use syntelis.ch or contact us. Swiss law (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP) applies. If you are in the EEA/UK, the GDPR may also apply to that contact.

What we process and why

• Website use. Technical data such as IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and device type. Purpose: operate and secure the site, diagnose errors. Legal basis under the GDPR (if applicable): legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
• Enquiries. If you email us (or use a form), we process your name, email address, company, and the content of the message. Purpose: answer you and, if relevant, prepare or perform a contract.
• Business relationship. If we work together, we process contact and contract data (name, role, company, address, email, correspondence, invoices). Purpose: perform the contract, accounting, legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use marketing or analytics cookies. Only technically necessary storage may be used to run the site (for example language preference).

Recipients

Data may be processed by:

• our hosting and email providers
• IT and professional advisors bound to confidentiality
• authorities if we are legally required to disclose it

Processors are used only as needed to run the company and the website.

Storage period

Enquiry emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable follow-up, then deleted or archived if we must keep them (for example a mandate or accounting). Contract and accounting data are kept for the statutory retention period in Switzerland (normally 10 years). Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Transfers abroad

Hosting or email may take place in Switzerland or the EEA. If a provider is outside that area, we use a mechanism recognised under Swiss law (and GDPR if applicable), such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and (where the GDPR applies) portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, write to info@syntelis.ch.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and, if you are in the EEA, with your local supervisory authority.

No obligation to provide data

You do not have to send us personal data to browse the public pages. If you want us to reply or to contract with us, we need the data required for that purpose.

We may update this notice. The current version is the one published on this website.
